Fun with Titanium

Saturday - March 23 (10:00-4:00)

| $149 (+GST) Register
Add some color to your jewelry creations with Titanium and make Earrings or Pendants in this fun one day class!
Students will learn how to torch colour titanium sheet and create interesting patterns and designs.
Students will be cutting out their own shapes and layering the coloured/patterned titanium sheets as they wish.  The design possibilities are endless!! See examples of coloured titanium below.
Forming earring hooks will also be covered in this class.

This class is taught by Gwen Jongejan (see Instructor’s page Bio).

NOTHING TO BUY BEFORE CLASS & NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!

Each student will be given adequate 22 gauge titanium sheet for plenty of opportunities to experiment. At the end of class, students will take away not only the piece(s) they’ve made in class, but also coloured/patterned titanium sheet to use in their own creations at home.

Wear comfortable “work” clothes, with full shoes, long hair tied back, and no scarves or sleeves that could present a hazard.

Car: FREE off street parking for students

Walking:  5 minute walk from the Sapperton Skytrain station

These are but a few examples of colours and patterns students will be able to create in this class!  From the sheets they create, they will cut out their own designs to make earrings or a pendant.
